If you have big news you'd like to share next Thursday - a published article, finishing a first draft, signing up for a writing class, etc. - please email me at Stephanie(at)GoTeenWriters.com with "News Day" in the subject line. I'm happy to post a link to your blog or a picture of you as well, if you so choose.
This week's big news:
- Talia DeAndrea finished NaNoWriMo!
- So did Shelby Stoddart, who mentioned her final word count was 50,200. Awesome!

ReplyDeleteStephanie, is that a record? 59 entries?
Sweet, I made the top eleven! (I think I already stated on the Facebook page that I finished NaNo? Upwards of 63,000 words!)
ReplyDeleteGreat job to all the finalists! :) I'm so excited to read your entries. And congrats to all who've finished Nano! :)
ReplyDeleteKatie, YES. 59 is by far the most entries we've had. And there were so, so, SO many good ones.
ReplyDeleteYou will. It's just a lot of emails to draft :)
ReplyDeleteSo does everyone get the regular feedback like always or is it just the top 11?
ReplyDeleteYes, Natalie, everyone will get feedback! The top 11 get line edits, but hopefully I'll have everyone's feedback in their inbox by the end of tomorrow. Thanks for being patient!
ReplyDeleteDo we get points that apply toward the overall ranking in the "Writing Prompt Contest Standings" for this free write?
ReplyDeleteYup!
