So if I were you, I'd call it a "YA Historical Suspense."Roseanna Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02245767775900250399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4024721400572472213.post-22988810411694293952011-05-11T19:45:05.473-05:002011-05-11T19:45:05.473-05:00What would you call a Historical YA book that is i...What would you call a Historical YA book that is intense, on-the-edge-of-your-seat, they're-going-to-kill-you?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4024721400572472213.post-71827966823866811592010-07-16T18:42:51.642-05:002010-07-16T18:42:51.642-05:00Absolutely, thank-you so much :)!!!Absolutely, thank-you so much :)!!!Bexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04339940001402938616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4024721400572472213.post-19259514422945627992010-07-16T17:10:47.251-05:002010-07-16T17:10:47.251-05:00Thanks, guys!

Are you thinking of books like supernatural or paranormal thrillers, and where the line is between those and fantasy?

I would say the difference there is generally the world it's set in. This isn't my area of expertise, but most fantasies are either in an entirely different world, or a different version of ours, one that is obviously different. A para/supernatural thriller is the world we deal with, with that added layer of suspense and intrigue that comes of dealing with what is usually unseen. Does that answer your question?Roseanna Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02245767775900250399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4024721400572472213.post-49498367651522472532010-07-16T14:52:09.715-05:002010-07-16T14:52:09.715-05:00Another great post, Roseanna!
