Dude, I totally forgot about the contest, I wanted to do that. Maybe I can whip something up tonight.
ReplyDeleteIt´s such a pity, that I already am 21...Otherwise I would participate on the conference with such a pleasure. Never mind. Enjoy it, okej?
ReplyDeleteEntered the contest! :) Oh, oops, Stephanie... I just realized it might not say I am registered for the conference, but I am, just under "Victoria" instead... is that still okay, or do you need me to resend the contest entry?
ReplyDeleteShould be fine, but thanks for the head's up!
DeleteAh! I can't wait for it to start! :D
ReplyDeleteSadly, I will be out of town for it. :'( I signed up and then realized it. Can I still see the posts, though, if it's a couple of days later?
ReplyDeleteYay! Okay, then, I'll have my mom send in my permission email. What exactly does she need to put on that?
DeleteSo glad to know that! I wasn't going to sign up because I'll be away at camp without Internet access those days. Now I'm registering! :D (Oh, and will it still be ok to enter the backcover copy contest, even though I won't be involved in the conference while it's actually happening?)
DeleteYes, Laurie! Send it on in.
DeleteBecki, aren't you over 18? Shellie should have sent your parents an email saying you'd registered for the conference. All they need to do is write back and say it's cool for Becki Badger to join in all the NextGen fun.
:D No, I'm only 16. I'll 17 at the end of the summer. I do all my mom's emails, though, so I'll have her give her permission and get that sent in.
DeleteI am so excited for this! It totally blew me away last year at how much I learned and enjoyed it. I was glued to my computer for two days straight! ;-) Looking forward to this year! :)
ReplyDeleteI signed up, but it didn't send me or my mom any confirmation emails. It sounds awesome, so I really hope I'm registered!
ReplyDeleteShellie has been out of town, so it's possible she just hasn't had a chance to send them yet.
Delete{I think you mean Rachel Coker, not Cocker.} :)
ReplyDeleteLol - that was copy and pasted from the NextGen site. I'll mention that to Shellie. Great catch, Rachelle!
DeleteHey Stephanie, did you get my entry? I sent another email asking if you did, too. Sorry about being so paranoid, but I'm away from home and don't have much Internet access.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the conference, though I'll be away from home for part of it. :( They email us our passcodes on August 1st, right? (I think I asked this already, but I can't remember the answer...)
I did, Jessica! I'll send you a follow up email here in a sec.
DeleteI registered and can't wait! It'll be my first time. :) Hoping to learn some exciting new aspects about writing and publishing...
ReplyDeleteYay! It'll be so fun, Cait.
DeleteYay! I'm registered and sent in my contest entry. I'm still waiting for my parent email thing, and my confirmation email. Cant wait to do it!:)
ReplyDeleteI've been exploring this site, and the conference looks like tons of fun! I will hopefully be listening in! I think it's so cool what you guys have been doing; you have no idea how helpful it is for a teen like me to have someplace to go to for my writing. Thx! :)
ReplyDeleteIt really rots that I couldn't enter that contest... :-/ I still haven't gotten my code thingy yet, some screwups with email things on my part. *sigh* At least I have the conference to look forward to :)
