We're on vacation this week!

by Stephanie Morrill

While it's not technically the last week of summer, it certainly feels like it. After this week, pools will close for the season, school will resume (if it hasn't already), and we'll pack away our white clothing. (Does anyone under the age of 60 still observe that fashion rule?)

Anyway. In an effort to savor the final week of summer and log some good writing time, Go Teen Writers will be closed this week. Our next post will be Tuesday, September 4th, when we'll announce the finalists from the 500 word contest.

See you then!

  1. *sobs* I shall miss Go Teen Writers this week. But I wish you all some wondrous vacations! Yeah, most people I know have started back to school. This is my last week of freedom, though.

  4. Have a great last week of summer! My school started back last Monday. I love my white sandals too much to put them away after Labor Day, so I kind of ignore the rule ;)

  5. Aww, I'll miss GTW posts this week. :( It's the only thing that keeps me sane while reading through my emails.
And to the white clothing thing, I never follow fashion rules, other than matching clothes. So I will continue to wear white all throughout fall and winter. :P

    1. Honestly, white isn't my problem: I wear black all through summer.
