Jill and I are excited to share that Go Teen Writers: How to Turn Your First Draft Into a Published Book is on sale for just .99 this week! As you might guess from the title, this is a book designed to help you edit your first draft and determine if you're ready to pursue publication. We wrote it with teen writers in mind (hence the title) but really it can serve as a guide for any new writer.
You can get it for .99:
You can also find free printables from the book, like a self-editing checklist, brainstorming questions, a list of character archetypes, and a few tools that can come in handy.
Also, I noticed Jill's Marcher Lord Press ebooks are on sale right now too.
Bought it! I'll be sure to review!
ReplyDeleteThank you! We appreciate that, Anne-girl.
Deleteps. Every time I see a comment from you, I want to get out my Anne of Green Gables movies and watch them. :-)
Reviewers are our favorite kind of readers :) I loathe writing book reviews, so I'm extra grateful for those who take the time to do it! Mine are always really short. Laura Anderson Kurk writes some seriously long, insightful reviews. It would take me all week to write a review like she does.
DeleteBought it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lauren! :-)
DeleteI'm going to buy it this week for a friend! So excited! I already bought the paperback for another friend of mine who is writing!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laura!
DeleteOh, cool! I'm going to have to get my hands on a copy of this :)
ReplyDeleteAdios,
Tabby (http://tabbys-corner.blogspot.com/)
Do we still get the same amount of rewards point for it even though it's on sale? (I'm buying it either way, just curious. :))
ReplyDeleteYes, it counts for points! :-)
DeleteJust bought it! I've been hoping to get this for a long time! Now I can read it on my kindle. Hopefully one day I can get the print version, too, because I love getting books like this in print, for easy reference. At least I can read it now! Thanks so much for all the work both of you have put into this.
ReplyDeleteYay! ;-) I really love this book!! It would be pretty epic if there was a special Christmas version of the cover to go with it... Haha!
ReplyDeleteThat would have been fun. Put a Santa hat on the boy, or something.
DeleteI just bought it! So excited to read it!
ReplyDeleteWell, I already have a paperback copy, but just bought the kindle version as well! Thanks for all your work for us younger writers!
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone. :-)
ReplyDeleteI just hit the purchase copy for the kindle copy. I definitely no longer fit the teenage category, but every bit of help I can get when I finally get these drafts finished (and start on second, third, fourth, whatever drafts) is appreciated.
