Congrats on finishing the word war! So how did you do this past week? Add up your word counts for each day and give the grand total in the comments below. This past week, I typed a total of 11,940 words on my novel King's Folly and 4739 on Storyworld First for a grand total of 17,005.

ReplyDeleteMy total was finish edits on six chapters of the first novel in my series - I edited around 19,201 words. After those same edits, the chapters amounted to 17,268 words. :) So excited that I was able to get SIX chapters done! That means I'm almost at the 1/3 mark for edits in this novel. :)
ReplyDeleteI was also able to get a bit of outlining done on another novel. :) And . . . just with AWESOME Word Wars, was able to write:
1,360 words of an idea
And 1,870 words of snippets for the fourth novel in my series

I got 2480, which isn't much but it pushed me to finish my Camp goal so I'm happy with that! :) I was just too busy to participate more than one day. :-/ But it was so fun when I did and I hadn't written that much in a day in a looong time so I'm very excited! :D

DeleteNoooooo, of course not XD I tried to write on Friday and I forced out ONE sentence but I didn't count it cuz I don't think I'll keep it. I knew my word count would stink but when I added it up on the calculator and that came up, I was like, O__O oki then... XD

DeleteI wrote Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Plotted for three hours on Wednesday. Then Thursday was super busy and Friday I needed a break (that's why I disappeared from the word war world...). I may not have gotten a ton of writing done, but it was still definitely more than I would've otherwise AND a major plot rehaul! Thanks everyone!
