Two (or more) Free Ebooks!

Jill here. Today I bring gifts. *throws confetti*

Enclave Publishing has put a gaggle of ebooks for free for a while. I'm not sure about international stores. Amazon.co.uk has the books free, but Amazon.com.au did not. Maybe the other Amazon stores will catch up. If not, I'm sorry!

The ebook versions of both By Darkness Hid and The New Recruit have been put free on Amazon.com and iTunes. You may go buy them now for nothing. Party on, guys. Party on.

Here are the links:

By Darkness Hid on Kindle
By Darkness Hid on iTunes

The New Recruit on Kindle
The New Recruit on iTunes

Believe it or not, purchasing these free books actually does help me. It shows Amazon and Apple that the books have more buyers, and that changes the dynamics of the "customers who bought this also bought" sections in the online stores. So, if you don't own these ebooks already, please go "buy" them for free.

And, like I said, these aren't the only ebooks Enclave Publishing put on free. There are more deals to be found! Check out this blog post to snatch up the other ebooks. And feel free to share any of these links with friends who you know love to read.

Happy Thursday! And happy reading. :-)

  2. I already have both of your books, but I just checked out the site . . . OH MY PUMPERNICKEL SO MANY FREE BOOKS. I heard about three of the freebies in Enclave Press's newsletter yesterday but there's SO MANY MORE. And one of them is The Restorer, which I've been wanting to read for a while. HAPPINESS!

    1. Yes! I've wanted to read the Restorer forever too! No time right now, sadly. Someday, though. Someday.

  3. I was just checking out the free book section two days ago and I couldn't believe it when I saw these books up there! It's a welcome change from the other times I download free books which are usually self published and, well, up for free because they're not really that great!

    1. Yes, making the first book in a series free is a concept that is, perhaps, getting to be overdone. Oftentimes the number of book reviews can give you a hint as to whether or not the book is well-written.

  6. I actually found those two books just yesterday. I've been wanting to read your books since you've put so much time and energy into this blog for us, and just recently I got a kindle; so I'm pretty excited :) Thank you!

  7. Wow! I'm finishing up the Harry Potter books right now and was planning to read your "By Darkness Hid" book after, so I wanted to buy it and now I suppose is the perfect time to do so, especially since if I did so a while ago my parents might have refused the opportunity to buy yet another book. But your entries, and all the entries on this site, have been really inspiring and helpful to me as a young author (13 :/) hoping to get published. It'll be so cool to finally read something that's been such a big contribution to this blog, being broken down as an example and such. I've heard only positive reviews so far, I'm so excited to get started on it! :D

  11. I was so nervous when I saw that this was posted 4 days ago. But no worries! They're still free--woohoo! Thanks, Mrs. Williamson. I've been wanting to read By Darkness Hid for...well...forever. I was just going buy it, but this is most definitely better.
