Closed for an admin day!

Stephanie here. The Go Teen Writers contest that closed on Monday received an amazing 130 entries! Due to the amount of emailing and evaluating this requires, the blog is closed today.

One quick plug -  if you purchased The Revised Life of Ellie Sweet in the month of July (or if you buy it today, I guess) make sure you submit your receipt to Playlist Fiction for a chance to win a very cool beach bag full of all kinds of goodies. There are a few other non-purchase-required ways to enter as well, and you can view those on the Playlist Fiction site.)

    Good luck with reading and evaluating all the entries! Must be a lot of work, but isn't it nice as well?
    130 entries is amazing! By the way, did you see the number of followers with GFC? Over 800! Free 800-write or something? ;-)

      We're kicking around some cool contest ideas for when we hit 1,000 followers. Although I keep hearing rumors that the Google Friend Connect thing will be going away, so...not sure.

      The Google Friend Connect rumors were because Google Reader, which was tied to Google Connect, was going away, and people weren't sure if Connect was going with it. Since Reader is now gone, and Connect is still here, I've a feeling it's safe.

      I guess "published authors" is a better way to put that. All writers are "real." Lol. You got my point. ;)

    Ohhh! Can't wait to hear the contest results. Though my sister pointed out a wording-issue to me AFTER I'd submitted. So I may be disqualified. *shrugs* Oh well! Can't wait to read the brilliant writing!! XD

    Gack! Darn it! I forgot to send in my entry for the contest. XD Whoops! I was too busy finishing up my story for Camp NaNoWriMo. Bummer. :P Oh, well. Look forward to reading the entries, and to the next contest! :D
