How's Thursday going, writers?
I wrote 2,000 words today, and I'm really having a swell time with the story. I'm eager to hear how you guys are doing!
I would also love to know when you guys write. In the morning before school? Afternoon? Late at night? Do you sit down and do all your words at once, or do you write it bursts throughout the day?
Congratulations! I've written almost nothing today, but I exceeded yesterday's count by 600 words, so I've got a little cushion. Last week I was waking up at 6:30 for a set hour or two of writing, but this week it's just been whenever I can squeeze some time.
ReplyDeleteI started really nice and had almost 10k by the first two days. 'Course that doesn't ever last and I used up all my extra words because things got busy. But I usually ignore my teachers in class by pretending I'm taking notes but I'm really writing in my notebook. Nice way to get stuff done and they usually repeat themselves a couple times so I get everything they're saying.... (I hope :D)
ReplyDeleteI've only written about 100 words today XD. Oh well, there'll be time to catch up over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteI write on and off throughout the day - that normally works out pretty well for me :D.

I get up early, and write my words between 6-7 am. My mind is fresh then, so I usually get all the words written in less than an hour. so, far every day has been good. The weekends are a little harder, as I don't get up early, and just make time in the afternoon. But still been going good :)
ReplyDeleteStill no more writing done since my 12,000 word achievement last week, but since I FINALLY got over being sick and caught up on my missed homework, I'm going to do some plot outlining tonight! That will save some time while writing, so hopefully I can churn out some words this weekend! I usually end up writing late at night (as you can see) because by then all my chores, homework, regular work, and so on are done and the house is quiet with no distractions. :) It does put a damper on my sleep schedule though.
