NaNoWriMo Day 11 Check-In

Hey, writers!

How's the day going? After writing over 2,000 words today, I'm at 19,488 words for the month.

I love this writing quote, and I know we've posted it here before, but I just thought it would be a good one for NaNoWriMo season:

"Impeccable" is certainly not the word I would use to describe the writing I'm doing right now, but I'll fix that in December!

  1. Yesterday was not a great day for writing. I barely got in about 400 words. But today I'm aiming for 10k. I've never written so many words in a day, so it'll be interesting to see if I can.

  2. I agree with Sarah that yesterday just really wasn't a good day. I barely hit 1k, and that's bad for me!
Still, I finally climbed the wall I ran into yesterday and got another 1k before 6 a.m.! Good Lord willing, I'll hit 70k today!

    1. When I've just pushed myself really hard, I find a brief dry spell afterward is to be expected. Glad you're feeling ready to write again!

    2. What do you do to get out of those dry spells? I often find myself starting yet another story that I'll never finish...

    3. If I've pushed myself that hard, I HAVE to take a break. I need time to refill my creative cup. So time away from my computer, reading something else, going on walks, brainstorming a new story, watching movies. All of those refill me.
